Reverse Cycle air conditioners are the most efficient way to cool you down in summer and keep you snug in winter. High wall mount split system reverse cycle inverter are one of the most efficient and cost effective solutions . Look for the EER (Energy Efficiency Rating) on appliances to gauge what the operating costs will be.

The EER (Energy Efficiency Rating for cooling) and COP (Coefficient of performance for heating) measure the energy consumption rates of air conditioners. This is often represented as an arch of blue and red stars so you can easily compare between models. The more stars, the more energy efficient the unit.

There have been instances of poorly installed and maintained units developing bacteria but this is extremely rare. We offer a comprehensive, scheduled maintenance program to ensure your air is always fresh and clean with certainty.

You are more likely to warm the fridge than cool the house! A common misconception with air-conditioning is that it takes the outside air, cools it down and transfers it indoors. The reality is that the system actually takes the heat from inside and transfers it to the outdoors. The heat is removed by passing indoor air through a refrigerant coil in the indoor unit. This heat is then transferred via the refrigerant to the outdoor unit and expelled..

Single or 3 phase refers to the amount of power delivered to your property via your property power supply. Most houses are single phase, however larger property with appliances that draw a lot of power may require a three phase system to avoid power fluctuations.

  • Use your air conditioning system only when you need to.
  • Set your air conditioner to switch off automatically if you forget to turn it off or go to bed.
  • Have a timer programmed to suit your needs and to turn off at times of the day when it’s not needed.
FAQs

Have issues with your current system? Check here first

Sometimes an issue might not need our attendance, and it’s simply a circuit breaker that’s been tripped, or an unusual part of normal operations.

Check the symptoms below and contact us if you need help or advice.

  • Has the circuit breaker been tripped?
  • Is the Power Switch at OFF?
  • Have you made a mistake in timer operation?
  • Check batteries in remote, do they need replacing?
  • Is the unit starting Heating Operation? If Yes, Hot-start is activating.
  • Is the unit in Defrost mode? If yes, wait for finishing of Defrosting.
  • Is the air filter dirty? See air filter cleaning instructions.
  • Room very hot when the room air conditioner was first turned on? Allow time for it to cool down.
  • Has the temperature been set incorrectly
  • Are the indoor units air inlets or outlet vents obstructed?
  • If the weather is quite cold and the unit repeats the Heating and Defrosting, we recommend looking at an alternative system.

Check that it is not a damp smell exuded by the walls, carpet, furniture or cloth items in the room. Otherwise your duct system may need servicing.

A noise that sounds like water flowing is usually the sound of gas flowing inside the air conditioning unit.

A noise that sounds like compressed air releasing into atmosphere is usually the sound of reversing the gas flow inside the unit at the starting and finishing of the Defrosting during Heating Operation.

Condensation occurs when the airflow from the air conditioner cools the warm moist air and is a normal part of operations.

This is a normal process to protect the mechanism.

Wait about 4-5 minutes and operation will begin.

Are the batteries depleted?

Are the batteries inserted in the opposite (+) and (-) directions?

If the airflow begins before its temperature becomes warm, it will cause an undesired cooling effect. In order to prevent this, the airflow will not begin until it is sufficiently warm. The operation lamp will blink until the airflow begins.

This operation is normal, and is to thaw the frost which has accumulated on the outdoor unit. This will take no longer than about 12 minutes, so wait for operation to complete. Frost accumulates on the outdoor unit when the outdoor temperature is low and the humidity is high – Heating Mode only
